Economists consider Estonia the holy land of the internet, a country of mobile phones and IT. In Estonia WiFi covered areas is 45,000km2 totally. Tallinn has been dubbed “one of the seven most intelligent cities in the world”.

Now, as 99% of the country’s territory has mobile services coverage and every resident has a cell phone, and there are over 1,000 WiFi hotspots, all you have to say is “Skype” you get the answer: “Ah, that country!” Tallinn is a city where you can log on to the internet via WiFi from practically anywhere. Wireless internet connections make e-mailing, web surfing or skyping incredibly easy.

61% of Estonians use the internet, and 95% of homes in Tallinn have internet connections.
Today, there are approximately 60 public wireless internet (WiFi) hotspots in Tallinn.
